UNDATED — Watch out for road work on portions of Interstate 80 in The Valley this week. A five-and-a-half mile microsurfacing project continues on I-80 in Montour and Northumberland Counties. PennDOT says Line painting is scheduled Monday in both directions of I-80 from the river bridge at the I-180/Route 147 interchange to the Montour County line. No lane closures are expected. The epoxy overlay will also be completed on the westbound structure at Limestoneville.
Tuesday, PennDOT says pavement markings will be placed at the eastbound rest area car parking lot. Half of the lot will be open at all times.
From Tuesday through Thursday, the eastbound structure just west on Limestoneville on I-80 will be worked on. There will be daylight lane restrictions.
Final pavement markings will be placed on I-80 in both directions between the mile run and Route 15 interchanges in Union County. Only the bridges will be painted. (Matt Catrillo)
