Valley Conservatives to celebrate one of their own

LEWISBURG — A memorial to honor the life of Bob Harder has been scheduled for Thursday at 11am at Rooke Chapel on the campus of Bucknell University. Harder, who died on August 24, was co-founder of the Susquehanna Valley Conservatives. His, and the group’s, goal is to educate the public on conservative values through the use of monthly meetings.

Stan Zellers, president of the Conservatives says they are now one of the most influential citizen’s groups in the region due to Harder’s unwavering convictions and belief in the principles on which he help create the  organization. Bob Harder was 80 years old. (Christopher Elio)
