Two wanted persons found during traffic stop w/ meth

SHAMOKIN DAM – Shamokin Dam police tell us a Routes 11 & 15  traffic stop for a minor violation, ended up with the arrests of two wanted men and the discovery of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Shamokin Dam police tell us the incident occurred around 9 p.m. Wednesday near 10th Avenue.

 

Police say the driver, 28-year-old Adam Tanner of Middleburg, and the passenger, 30-year-old Nathaniel Posten of Sunbury were both wanted on bench warrants for failing to appear in Snyder County Court, they are both now jailed in the Snyder County prison.

 

Officers say they found meth pipes and a small bag of suspected meth on the passenger side of the vehicle. Charges will be filed at a later date relating to traffic violations and the drug items seized. Selinsgrove police and the Snyder County Sheriff Department assisted.
