Selinsgrove Police make another arrest in SU robbery case

SELINSGROVE– The Selinsgrove Police have made another arrest associated with the armed robbery that took place on the Susquehanna University campus last month. Selinsgrove Police arrested 19-year-old Juvon Batts Wednesday in Middleburg.

Batts is charged with three felony counts of criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, and one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Batts allegedly set up  a drug deal from an SU student inside a campus dormitory and then sent two men to complete the transaction.

 

He was arraigned before Magistrate John Reed and committed to the Snyder County Prison in lieu of $150,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is set for September 27.

 

Selinsgrove Police continue to investigate the incident. A third suspect, Lamont Romeo Patterson is still at large. Anyone with information is asked to contact  Selinsgrove Police at 570-374-8655.
