MIDDLEBURG – A recent Midd-West High School graduate is running for Snyder County Commissioner. Rylan Ebright, who’s also the newly-elected president of Reliance Hose Fire Company in Middleburg, has announced his candidacy for county commissioner. He’ll run on the Republican ticket.
Ebright says if elected, he will bring a young and modern approach to county government. His main focus is developing the region to provide economic growth and creating safe communities. Ebright also wants to create opportunities for the county to move into the future, while maintain fiscal responsibility.
Ebright says he comes from a long line of community and business leaders. His late grandfather, John Ebright, was the first 911 Communications Director of the county, Deputy Sheriff, Middleburg’s Police Chief, and a security officer at Susquehanna University. Ebright’s father and uncle have also both served in volunteer fire service and own businesses in the county.
