PHOTOS HERE: Selinsgrove PD release pics of bank robber

SELINSGROVE – Selinsgrove police are seeking a suspect after a bank robbery in Selinsgrove Wednesday. Officers say the strong arm bank robbery occurred at Northumberland National Bank, 411 N. Market Street, around 2:15 p.m.

 

Police say a white male entered the bank, approached a teller with a note, reached over the counter top and grabbed cash from the teller’s hands. He fled and was seen running through yards to a parked blue sedan. The car was last seen heading north on Market Street. There were no injuries reported.

 

The suspect is described as a white male, age 30-45 years old, approximately 5-foot, 6-inches tall, medium to medium heavy build. He was wearing a blue parka with white stripes down the sleeves, with blue jeans and rimmed glasses. Anyone with information is asked to call Selinsgrove police at 570-374-8655.

 

Police were assisted by Shamokin Dam Police, Selinsgrove state police, and forensic support from Montoursville state police.
