Accu-Weather leader to be Pres. Trump’s head of NOAA

WASHINGTON– A leader in weather is being tapped for a national post.  President Donald Trump intends to nominate Accu-Weather CEO Barry Myers as Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere.  He would also serve as the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (or NOAA).

The Founder and President of Accu-Weather, Joel Myers, say his brother, Barry Myers is uniquely qualified for this position due to his vast knowledge and business experience.  Joel Myers also cited Barry Myer’s leadership skills as one of his quailifications.  Barry Myers  is a graduate of Penn State University and holds a doctorate from the Boston University School of law.  (Chad Hershberger)
