SNYDERTOWN – The investigation continues following a dog shooting just outside Sunbury last week. A golden retriever named “Denver” was shot and killed while on his owner’s property August 31. Now investigators are looking for who’s responsible.  Veterinarian Dr. Kay Ann Busshaus  provided an update, “The SPAC has recovered the bullet from Denver. That’s the only update we have right now.”

Dr. Busshaus says there’s a reward for anyone who has any information on the shooter, “Furry Friends has offered a $500 reward for information leading to the prosecution of this person or persons. We’ve also had some external donations, so the fund is now up to $800.”

If you have any information on the incident, you’re asked to call Stonington state police, or the Danville SPCA. The Danville SPCA is in charge of the investigation. (Matt Catrillo)
