DANVILLE– A Montour County golf club is suing its former manager for mismanagement, two months after that company went out of businesses. The Daily Item reports that the Frosty Valley Country Club in Mahoning Township was managed by Integrity Golf Company. The president and CEO of that company is also named as a co-defendant.
The club maintains Integrity Golf took membership dues and left the club with more than $200,000 in bills, leaving it in financial trouble. Integrity Golf, based in Florida, ceased operating Frosty Valley in May and later ceased all operations of its company in August. A new company, Liberty Group purchased Frosty Valley and they plan renovations and improvements to the facilities. (Chad Hershberger)
