Lewisburg Children’s Museum grand opening this weekend

LEWISBURG – A new place for kids in The Valley to explore, learn and have fun is opening this weekend. The Lewisburg Children’s Museum will have its Grand Opening Saturday at 1 p.m. The museum is located on the second floor of the GreenSpace Center, which is the old Lewisburg High School building. Its 9,000 square feet, creating nine interactive and educational exhibits, including:

  • Creation Station
  • Dig It
  • Farm to Food
  • Farmer’s Field
  • Weis Grocery Store
  • Bodyworks by Evangelical Community Hospital
  • Play Café
  • Playtime Theater
  • Science and Space Exploration

The museum will also offer Spanish, art and music classes, monthly story times, field trips, and birthday parties. They also have other special events coming up like its annual Munchkins and Pumpkins and New Year’s Eve Kids Party. Admission is $8 per person and children under one are free.
