The Millerstown Lions Club is happy to announce a new worthwhile service to the community—a Free Health Clinic and Blood Drive on Saturday, April 21 from 9 a.m until 12 noon in the Greenwood Elementary School, 405 E. Sunbury Street in Millerstown.
The Lions have partnered with UPMC Pinnacle Health to provide free health screenings and awareness consultants. Screenings include Blood Pressure, Cholesterol Testing, Glucose Testing, Nutrition Awareness, Diabetes Awareness, Cardiology, Skin Analysis and Sleep Analysis, all provided by Pinnacle Health.
The Lions Club will provide Vision and Hearing Testing, but children under 18 must have a parent or guardian present.
Additional services will be provided by the Pennsylvania State Police who will be doing Child Safety Seat Checks in the Parking areas. Perry County Human Services will be on hand to discuss Drug/Alcohol Dependency and Homeless Assistance. Also, the Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania will be on hand to provide Orthopedic and Spine Services. Harrisburg Foot & Ankle will also be at the Clinic.
