Lewisburg Community Garden
Announces Two Spring Plant Sales
Saturday, April 21 – Earth Day! — from 9am to noon
Sunday, Mary 13 – Mothers’ Day! — from 1 to 5pm
Both will take place at the Community Garden
At the intersection of North Water and St Anthony Streets
This year the Lewisburg Community Garden is offering not one but two plant sales! In addition to our usual Plant Sale in May, we are having an Early Plant Sale on Saturday April 21st, 9am-12pm at the garden. At that time we will sell cold-tolerant plants like kale, broccoli, onion seedlings, flowers and herbs. Our 7th annual main plant sale will be held on Sunday May 13th, from 1pm-5pm.
Regular customers will notice that the day and time of the May sale are different from years past. This year we are excited to host our plant sale on Mothers’ Day as part of the Protect – Preserve — Play Street Fair, a CommUnity Zone event being held in collaboration with River Road Holiday. There will be live music, giveaways, food, and family-friendly activities going on as well as a chance to walk and bike along River Road without worrying about cars. For those arriving at the sale by car, there will be parking on street in the Borough and at Wolfe Field. In addition to the plant sale that day, the garden will offer tours and educational activities. There is a list of plant varieties available on our website: bit.ly/2018plantsale.
