Drivers on both ends of Watsontown crash given DUI’s

 

 

WATSONTOWN – Both drivers are charged with DUI after a crash in Watsontown Wednesday night. Watsontown police say the crash occurred just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of First and Main Streets.

 

Police say Fred Robinson Jr. of Watsontown was traveling on Main Street when he turned left in front of a car driven by Nicholas Hause of White Deer.  Police say it was just 15-minutes earlier they had seen Robinson because they charged him with public drunkenness.

 

Police say Hause was also under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody. Robinson did submit a blood test while Hause refused testing.   Robinson will be charged with a DUI and other related counts pending test results. Hause will also be charged with a misdemeanor count of DUI.
