41 post-Christmas thefts being investigated in Beavertown 

BEAVERTOWN – Middleburg police are investigating 41 thefts occurring the day after Christmas in Beavertown. The officers tell us, the incidents happened within three-and-a-half hours, from 1 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. December 26. Items reportedly stolen include cash and credit cards, guns, alcohol, and bicycles from home garages and vehicles in the borough.
Beavertown Mayor Lee Hollenbach tells WKOK fire extinguishers in a bus and passenger vehicles were used to spray into vehicles. He says Middleburg police officers and Hollenbach will hold a joint press conference 1pm Tuesday afternoon at Beavertown Borough Hall in order to update the public on the investigation.
