The substance abuse panel begins at 10:30 a.m. and will discuss the impact substance abuse disorders have on the family as a whole.
George Weller is a counselor of the Gaudenzia Addiction, Treatment and Recovery Center and will be the moderator, “It consists of a recovering individual, an expert in the field, as well as family member of someone who’s been drug-affected. And we’re going to ask how we can get individuals access to services, what are some of the barriers to services, and how as service providers we can prove things that we’re offering to the families can provide to the families that are facing this tremendous challenge.”
